The new face of AutoIndustriya.com

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

This month we start with a new face for AutoIndustriya.com for all you loyal readers out there. It has been a while, or let me say four years since we worked with the previous look and logo. Rest assured the enthusiasm from when we started has not waned. In fact, we have come up with even more features in store for you.

For the logo, we decided to give it a more dynamic appeal as a reflection of our drive to bring you the best browsing experience possible. In this light, we have decided to give the site a more visual experience with more photographs instead of just links and text.

New to the site is of course is this Editorial section; wherein you will see our personal views on certain matters.

The Technology section will focus on new automotive technologies for the future, which tackles on new engine technologies and alternative fuels. In this edition, we give readers a glimpse of what the Honda Civic Hybrid has to offer.

The Road Safety will focus on campaigns on a global and local scale, driving tips, as well as tackle different automotive technologies which make driving a safer experience. Road Safety Youth Council Chairman Vic Rosales shares his experience at the United Nations Global Road Safety Week.

Motorsports will now have its own section featuring the latest motorsport news and events. Our current special coverage feature is the Malaysian leg of the Super GT Championship.

The Industrifinder now has two functions, the shop finder and the new vehicle finder. The shop finder features searching by shop name, shop category and shop location. The new vehicle finder is a virtual brochure to help you find a new car; searching can be done by brand, price range and vehicle type.

The Talk Board, our message forum has also received a major revamp with a more refreshing look. We have also upgraded the 4-Sale section for easier ad posting and viewing of ads.

Last but not the least; Tuned has undergone a major revamp with a totally different layout. The section will now focus on Modern Automotive Lifestyle, a fusion of tuner cars and the latest gear.

For a better experience of what we mean, visit the AutoIndustriya.com display stand at the lobby area of the First Philippine International Motor Show at the World Trade Center Metro Manila from August 9 to 12, 2007.
