Ford’s SYNC system is all about possibilities.
At their ASEAN reveal of the all new Ford Focus in Bangkok a few weeks ago, Ford announced that the ASEAN market will be getting the Ford Focus with the innovative SYNC system, and will be at the forefront of the company’s move to take on the compact car class.
About a month ago, we got a real eye opening experience when we joined the MMDA in their crusade to enforce the laws, regulations and rules of the road.
We saw how challenging it was for them to do so with the inadequate resources and equipment at their disposal, while at the same time having to walk the tight line between what’s right and our society’s minefield called (padrino) politics
But what if they didn’t have all these hindrances in their way? What if they had the resources, the right equipment and, more importantly, the political will to do what needs to be done?
We’ve all dealt with it at some point.
They put up some new hotel, mall or casino, hype it up like a Justin Bieber concert (I never thought I’d ever use his name in a story), yet for one reason or another, their parking sucks. Big time.
Just recently, I went over to Discover Suites in Ortigas for an event. Now being a classy hotel and all, you would expect them to have great parking and they do… if your car is no larger than a Fiesta.
Just recently, a friend of ours sent us a this photo of a bus billowing smoke into our air. Of course, this is a normal sight on our highly polluted streets, but when you take a closer look, you’ll notice that it’s not one of those for hire buses that ply the commercial routes; it’s an MMDA vehicle.
What the hell?
