0 to 100 in 2.4 seconds. 0 to 200 in 6.8, an over 340 km/h Vmax, and a V12 soundtrack played al fresco.

That’s the experience that Lamborghini’s latest (and fastest) open-top supercar guarantees with the limited-edition Fenomeno Roadster. As part of Lamborghini’s “Few Off” models, they’re only making 15 of these – but each will feature a 6.5-liter V12 hybrid powertrain that delivers a total of 1080 PS. 

As the name implies, it’s the roofless version of the Fenomeno Coupe that was revealed last year. That also means it uses the Revuelto’s carbon fiber monocoque, as well as the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and three electric motors - two in front, and one above the 8-speed dual clutch gearbox seen through a clear engine cover.

Much like the coupe, the Fenomeno Roadster’s got those angry shapes and hexagon signatures making up its aggressive look, with Lamborghini changing some elements for the carbon-fiber roll structure to have a good compromise between safety and aerodynamic performance. It was presented in a blue and red color scheme, which Lamborghini says is a tribute to the colors of the city of Bologna.

Inside, Lamborghini kept its fighter-jet-inspired cockpit with hexagonal graphics, haptic buttons, and aviation-style switches. The interior has some exposed carbon fiber elements as well, finished with a red and black theme.

Other features include carbon ceramic brakes, mechanically adjustable racing shocks, and bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires in a staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear configuration.

While Lamborghini is yet to announce what the retail price is for one of these, the Fenomeno Roadster’s 15-unit production run is most likely to have already been spoken for with the brand’s exclusive clientele.
