2026 Chevrolet Colorado gets a lift (and more) with new Trail Boss model
The midsize pickup truck from Chevrolet is still alive and well despite PH exit
It was around two years ago when we saw the refreshed Chevrolet Colorado debut in South America. While it's no longer on sale in the Philippines, it's nice to see that the midsize pickup truck is still popular outside of the country, despite its age.
Together with the Chevrolet Spin, the updated Colorado pickup gets a major redesign, with styling cues inspired by the North American Colorado. From a bolder front fascia to new, stylish LED headlights, as well as fresh alloy wheels and more sculpted fenders, the Colorado pickup truck is not going away anytime soon.

Fast forward a couple of years, and the bow-tie brand continues to keep the Colorado pickup fresh with some new upgrades. Say hello to the 2026 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss, and it's packing some neat features other pickups can only wish to have.
For starters, the Trail Boss gets a suspension upgrade courtesy of Ironman 4x4. This gives the Colorado pickup a 1.2-inch lift at the front. Complementing the suspension upgrade are the 18-inch Scorpion all-terrain tires that Chevrolet says will provide better grip on dirt, gravel, and other low-traction surfaces. Exterior changes were also made for the pickup truck, which include a gloss black finish on the front grille & rear bumper, and more pronounced fender flares.

Other visual and exterior updates introduced to the Colorado Trail Boss include a unique decal set, a roll bar, and a standard bed liner to protect the cargo area from scratches and dings while transporting goods.
Inside, the Trail Boss gets plenty of features since it's based on the top-of-the-line High Country model. This gives the pickup truck amenities like an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment display, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, full leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, and the Trail Boss embossed on the front headrests.

Under the hood, the Colorado Trail Boss is powered by the evergreen 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel from VM Motori. It generates 210 PS with 510 Nm of torque and is coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with part-time 4WD.

The Chevrolet Colorado may have already left the Philippine market, but it's nice to see the pickup is still going strong in other markets.
