Geely Philippines pulled a surprise at this year's Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival.

After previewing its cute & quirky electric hatchback at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Geely Philippines has brought the EX2 to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds. That's right, from today until May 10, 2026, Geely is letting interested customers test drive the EX2.

First shown in metal last month, the Geely EX2 will serve as the brand's entry-level EV and could face off against the likes of the BYD Dolphin and Dongfeng Nammi electric hatchbacks. Based on what the Department of Energy (DOE) has listed about the EX2, the upcoming EV will be available in two variants: Pro and Max.

Both models come with a single electric motor that puts out 85 kW or 115 PS and 150 Nm of torque. Power is then supplied by a 39.4 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, which gives it a range of up to 325 km, based on the WLTP cycle. The battery can be recharged in two ways, which begins with an AC charger that can recharge it from 10% to 100% in 6.5 hours. Hook it up to a 70 kW fast DC charger, however, and the EX2 can be recharged from 30% to 80% in just 25 minutes.

Size-wise, the EX2 measures 4135mm long, 1805mm wide, and 1580mm tall on a 2650mm wheelbase. It also has 162mm of ground clearance and up to 1,320 liters of luggage space with the rear seats folded (375 liters with the rear seats deployed).

Once revealed, the Geely EX2 will reportedly have a price range between PHP 950K and PHP 1,050,000.

If you happen to find yourself at SM MOA and you happen to be looking to test drive your next vehicle, head on to the 2026 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival, which is open to the public from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM until May 10, Sunday.
