The 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) not only attracted a record number of visitors with a total of 180,600 guests over a period of four days, but this year's show also saw automakers making sales.

Nearly a month since MIAS 2026 took place at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City, the organizers of the annual auto show recently announced that over 2,080 reservations were made over the course of four days.

Based on the official list of units sold with reservation fees at MIAS 2026, a total of 2,081 reservations were recorded.

GWM – 112 units sold

UAAGI – 803 units sold

MG – 700 units sold

Deepal – 50 units sold

Omoda Jaecoo – 187 units sold

Geely – 124 units sold

Changan – 105 units sold

With customers putting down serious money at this year's MIAS, it proved that despite the recent fuel price hikes, customers are willing to pay good money for a brand new vehicle, especially New Energy Vehicles (NEVs).

Next month, the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) will take place from June 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Will it be able to attract more visitors and reservations compared to this year's MIAS?
