It’s only been a few weeks since GWM Philippines previewed the Haval H7 PHEV at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show, but now we’ve come to the Beijing Auto Show to see its larger variant.

Making its public debut at Auto China 2026 is the 7-seater version of the GWM Haval H7 PHEV. Apart from the increase in seating capacity, the H7 PHEV 7-seater is also larger in size and comes with some minor detail updates.

Size-wise, the 7-seater version of the Haval H7 PHEV measures 4912 mm long, 1950 mm wide, and 1905 mm tall with a wheelbase stretched to 2850 mm. For comparison, the 5-seater H7 PHEV has a length of 4800 mm, 1950 mm wide, 1843 mm tall, and a 2738 mm wheelbase.

The 5-seater’s look is carried over to the H7 7-seater, with a minor change in the front fascia where the HAVAL logo adopts a smaller font. The powertrain still utilizes the 1.5-liter Hi-4T plug-in hybrid system, but GWM says the 7-seater version has a pure electric range of 255 km based on the CLTC cycle.

Other features are carried over, such as the rear e-locking mechanical dog-clutch differential for its four-wheel-drive operation, Tank turn capability, crawl mode, and electronically controlled dampers.

The Chinese market version also comes with the Coffee Pilot 3 driving assistance system that uses Lidar tech along with cameras for its operation.

For now, the 7-seater Haval H7 PHEV is getting introduced to the Chinese market. But down the line, the model could be an interesting addition to GWM’s growing lineup in the Philippines.
