Hongqi unveils its new and upcoming SUVs at 2026 Beijing Auto Show
From new-generation models to upcoming nameplates, Hongqi showed its growing EV portfolio
Hongqi took center stage at one of the largest and most anticipated automotive events in the world, Auto China 2026 in Beijing. There, the brand unveiled its new SUVs that highlight the brand’s continued push toward electrification and innovation.

Hongqi’s participation at the Auto China 2026 underscores its accelerating globalization strategy, centered on expanding its presence in key international markets through a strong new energy vehicle (NEV) portfolio.

At the event, Hongqi previewed its next-generation global SUV lineup, led by the EHS9, the brand’s flagship full-size electric SUV that underscores its push into the premium EV space with a commanding presence, three-row luxury configuration, and advanced in-cabin technologies.

It is followed by the all-new EHS5, a midsize EV SUV designed to deliver a balance of performance, comfort, and advanced electric mobility.

Alongside it is the Global SUV or G117 compact EV SUV that blends dynamic styling with versatile functionality.
Last but not least is the P567 range-extended EV (REEV), an off-road SUV that expands Hongqi’s capabilities into more rugged and adventurous driving segments.

While official model names for G117 and P567 have yet to be announced, these models signal Hongqi’s commitment to diversifying its SUV portfolio across multiple segments.
In terms of global availability, Hongqi confirmed that both the EHS5 and G117 are scheduled for export in the second half of 2026, while the P567 is expected to follow in 2027. These timelines reflect the brand’s strategic rollout of new energy vehicles as it continues to expand its global footprint.
“We had the opportunity to see these new models up close at the Beijing Auto Show, and we were truly impressed by the design and the level of technology integrated into each vehicle. “These models represent the future direction of the brand, and we are excited to bring more of these innovations to the Philippine market. This year, we are looking to launch two new Hongqi SUV models locally,” said Rashid Delgado, president of Hongqi Philippines.

With the EHS5 and G117 slated for global export by the second half of 2026, these two models are seen as strong candidates for introduction in the Philippine market within the same period, offering Filipino customers more choices in the premium EV SUV segment.
Currently, Hongqi Philippines offers a growing lineup of electric vehicles, including the EHS9 full-size EV SUV, the EHS7 midsize EV SUV, and the EH7 midsize EV sedan, all of which showcase the brand’s focus on combining luxury, performance, and advanced electric mobility.
