For years, netizens have turned to social media to call out erring drivers and even abusive law enforcers, often relying on posts going viral before authorities take notice. Now, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) is changing that with the launch of its dedicated reporting platform, “I-Report Mo kay LTO Chief,” promising faster action without the need for incidents to gain traction online.

According to LTO, this new platform “aims to strengthen transparency, accountability, and responsiveness of the agency, in accordance with Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act) and existing government policies.”

The new website, https://www.ireportmokayltochief.ph/, which underwent beta testing earlier this month, is now open to the public for reporting erring drivers involved in road rage incidents, colorum vehicles, vehicular violations, hit-and-run cases, and even alleged corruption within the LTO.

The platform also accepts complaints related to licensing, vehicle registration, and transfer of ownership, providing motorists a more direct channel for reporting concerns, again, without the need to rely on social media posts to gain attention.

Show Cause Orders now viewable

One of the key features of the new platform, beyond collecting and organizing public complaints and promoting transparency, is its Show Cause Order (SCO) tracker. Through this tool, users can monitor the status of SCOs issued by the Land Transportation Office against erring drivers, including updates on case progress and final outcomes such as license suspension or revocation.
